  • Notes
    • My grand-father Brackstone was quite colourful. He was a small dark man, supposedly very good looking. He escaped from England as a teenager, having killed his girlfriends husband. Came to Canada and worked as a gardener for the Sparks family - my grandmother's husband, she had seven children at the time. They fell in love and either ran away or were banished to the back woods of Ontario when my father and Aunt Bessie were born. How could she have left seven children for the man? My Aunt Bessie brought all the family to Bermuda to live.
