  In 1841 and 1851 census at Ardheslaig with grandfather Donald and I'm guessing father, John. 1851 census says he was born at Tongue, Sutherland. There is a marriage at Tongue 2 Jan 1835 for a John McRae and Anne Macleod - could this be Donald's parents. I can't find a suitable baptism for Donald. Grandson of Donald McRae but don't know whose son he is. He is not the son of John??
