• Notes

  Flora first appears on the Applecross Poor Register on 3rd August 1881. She is listed as a widow, born at Kenmore, living at Inveralligin and wholly disabled and destitute through age and destitution. An entry for 6th September 1890 says she is very frail, lives with her son-in-law and is well attended to. Her son-in-law is Fraquhar McIver who is a fisherman in Inveralligin and is married to Flora’s daughter, Mary. Flora is listed in their household in the 1891 census. According to the poor register, Flora dies on 22nd February 1895.
