  Dundee Advertiser 21 January 1890 Blackford - Sudden Death. Mr. Peter Sharp, Bardrill, was taken seriously ill last evening while attending a meeting in the Established Church for the appointment of a pastor. Mr Sharp withdrew to the vestry, where he immediately expired. He had not been in his usual health for some time.
