      EX-FORBES GIRL
      Married at Broken. Hill
      Falkner— Lozell
The marriage of Miss Marj Lozell, second daughter of Mrs. W. Gleeson, of Broken Hill, and the late Mr. T. Lozell, of Forbes, to Mr. Jack Falkner, only son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Falkner, of Broken Hill, was celebrated at St. Peter's Church of England, Broken Hill, recently.
A gown of parchment slipper satin, designed with a deep corslette waist yoke, scolloped on to the full skirt, was worn by the bride. The centre back of the gown and the long square shouldered, sleeves were fastened with
satin covered buttons. A beautiful Honiton lace veil, and a sheaf of fragrant November lilies completed her
      charming bridal attire.
A sister of the bridegroom, Mrs. Carthew, attended as matron of honor, and Mr. Carthew acted as best man.
Mrs. Carthew's full-skirted cream moire gown was fashioned with groups of pleats from the shoulder-line to the
diamond-shaped waits yoke. Her shoulder length red tulle veil, falling from a top-knot of red carnations, was
a striking contrast. She carried a sheaf of carnations to match her topknot.
Receiving about sixty guests at the reception, Mrs. Gleeson wore a smart black afternoon frock, trimmed with
braiding at the shoulder and waistline. Her accessories were black and she wore a spray of red carnations.
The bridegroom's mother chose a navy blue and white floral frock, and navy blue accessories. Her flowers
      were multi-colored carnations.
When leaving for the honeymoon, which was Spent in Sydney, the bride wore an attractive frock of navy blue,
      relieved with white.
The newly-wed couple will make their home at Broken Hill.
