  NSW Police Gazettes 1868. A warrant has been issued by the Rocklely Bench for the arrest of Michael Kearns, charged with absconding from the hires service of W.J. Golsby, farmer, Brounlee, near Rockley on the 6th instance. He is about 18 years of age, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, brown hair, no beard; dressed in Crimean shirt, moleskin trousers, and cabbage-tree hat; a native of the Colony; rode a dark brown mare. Supposed to have gone to Bathurst, where his father resides.
