daughter of Mrs M. J. and the late Robert Day, of Norwich Farm, Forbes.

An ex-Forbes girl in Mrs. Fleming (nee Miss Irene Higgins) arrived in town on Sunday from Sydney with Mr. Charlie Tribolet and the latter's daughter, Betty.
Mrs. Fleming and Betty are staying with the former's brother, Mr. Frank Higgins, at Bogabigal. The party return to the city on Thursday. - The Frobes Advocate Tuesday 18 November 1952.
Forbes has been receiving a visit from Mr. Jack Palmer, who went to school here half a century or more ago and whose father, the late Mr. Fred Palmer, was first postal assistant in the days when the late Mr. W. S. Bellamy and
others before him was the post master at Forbes. Jack is now living in retirement and is on a holiday to relatives, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Higgins, of Bogablgal. He has a most interesting collection of old photos of the town, which
he yesterday displayed to Dr. Kelleher president of Forbes Historical Society. Jack has a good knowledge of early events of the town, and opportunity should be taken of his stay to have him in attendance nt the next meeting of
