  Forbes Advocate Friday 8 October 1954 OBITUARY Mr. Jack Higgins The death of a former Forbes resident, Mr. Jack Higgins (66) occurred in Canterbury Hospital last Friday. He was in the Railway Department for many years and at the time of his death was stationmaster at Canterbury. He is survived by a widow and one daughter, Mrs. Hamling, of Canterbury. Mr. Frank Higgins of "Norwich," Bedgerabong Road, Forbes is a brother.
