      Deaths - John W. Nickson
      John William Nickson, 63, died Tuesday noon at the family residence, 243 Third East, Salt Lake city.
      Mr Nickson was born Oct. 26, 1882, in Manchester, England, a son of John C. and Eleanor Smurthwaite Nickson. He lived in Ogden for many years and was a pioneer in the automotive industry. He was owner of the Mack-Robinson garage in Ogden for 30 years. In 1940 he and his family moved to Salt Lake City, where he operated a service station at Thirty-third South and Highland Drive.
      Mr Nickson married Louise English in Odgen.
      Survivors include his widow, one son and two daughters, Fred A. Nickson, Los Angeles; Mrs Thomas J. (Eva) Knowles, Southport, England; Mrs Samuel G. (Jane) Paul, Jr, Salt Lake City; also one granddaughter and a brother and a sister, Harry Nickson, Tacoma, Wash; and Mrs E. E. Clive, Hollywodd, Calif.
      Funeral services will be conducted Friday at two p.m. at the mortuary, 466 Twnety-fourth, Ogden. Burial will be in Ogden city cemetery.
