  Went to Canada probably around 1901. On 1901 Census he is in the Salford Workhouse with his mother and brother Albert. There is a Charles Williams in the index to Home Children on the Library and Archives Canada website: https://www.bac-lac.gc.ca/eng/discover/immigration/immigration-records/home-children-1869-1930/Pages/home-children.aspx. This Charles Williams travelled on the "Tunisian" from Liverpool and arrived at Quebec and Montreal on 27 Sep 1901 with a large group from the Barnado Homes.
