  The Sunday Times Sun 25 Mar 1928. In honor of the approaching marriage of Miss Aileen Dabelle, of Mosman, to Mr. R. Bottle,' a 'shower tea party' was given at the Wentworth Cafe on Wednesday by Miss A. Birch, of Neutral Bay. The table was beautifully decorated with seasonable blooms, and novelty bride name cards marked the place of each guest. A horseshoe of pink rosebuds and asters was presented to the guest of honor. The guests included Mesdames Dabelle, Birch, Manning, Wigmore, Richardson, R. Leech, McKenzie, the Misses M. Martin, Dot Dabelle, Claire Meilon, and Alice Birch.
