  Perth Advertiser April 5, 1961 Mrs Catherine Gibbons and daughters, and Miss Grace Gibbons wish to thank relatives friends and neighbours for kind expressions of sympathy and floral tributes received in their sudden bereavement; also the doctor and the Rev. Mr Kennedy and all those who paid their last respects at the graveside. 8 Drumgrain Terrace, Methven Perth Advertiser April 8, 1961 The funeral of Mr Alexander Gibbons, Drumgrain Terrace, took place to Methven New Cemetary on Wednesday. Mr Gibbons, son of the late Mr & Mrs A. Gibbons, died suddenly on Monday. Of a quiet and retiring nature, his death has cast a gloom over the village where he lived for over fifty years. Mr Gibbons was an office-bearer in the Methven Church and is survived by his wife and three daughters. The Rev S. Kennedy conducted the service at the graveside.
