    • Perth Advertiser April 8, 1961
The funeral of Mr Alexander Gibbons, Drumgrain Terrace, took place to Methven New Cemetary on Wednesday. Mr Gibbons, son of the late Mr & Mrs A. Gibbons, died suddenly on Monday. Of a quiet and retiring nature, his death has cast a gloom over the village where he lived for over fifty years. Mr Gibbons was an office-bearer in the Methven Church and is survived by his wife and three daughters. The Rev S. Kennedy conducted the service at the graveside.
