2204 | Western Gazette Friday 26 July 1872 SHERBORNE, PETTY SESSIONS, Saturday - Before E. Benthall, Esq. - Sarah Brackstone, wife of Charles Brackstone, of Sherborne, glazier, was charged with stealing several articles from her sister-in-law. The warrant was issued in April last, but prisoner (who had been an inmate of the County Lunatic Asylum on two occasions) adsconded, and was not apprehended until 20th inst., when P.C Smith met her walking about the town at a very early hour. As prosecutrix did not appear, prisoner was discharged. The County Lunatic Asylum or Herrison Hospital was located in Charminster. 2205 | Western Star and Roma Advertiser (Towoomba, Qld: 1875-1948) Wednesday 29 November 1939 MR. G. H. CROWTHER Mr. George Harcourt Crowther, aged 75, died on November 23 at Southbrook, to where he had gone recently as a State Wheat Board classifier. He was born at Collector, near Goulburn, came to Queensland in 1905, and became interested in dairying and the breeding to stud cattle. He frequently judged dairy cattle at country shows, and won several championships with his cattle at Brisbane Exhibitions. In 1935 he and his wife celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary.
