Inquest upon the Woman Gored by a Cow.
"Roger Eccleston, an engineer employed at Mr Manley's brewery, said that about half-past eleven on Thursday mroning, he came across the road to speak to an ostler at the White Horse, when he saw the cow running along Market Street. Deceased was standing on the footpath, and as the cow was passing it made at her, and picked her up on its horns and dashed her against the wall two or three times, and threw her down. There was no one near at the time."
