Runaway Apprentice.
Martin Mather, about 17 years, light complexion, 5 feet 4 inches high, rather stout build, had on whne he absconded, a blue woollen coat and waistcoat, dark olive queen cord breeches, black and white cotton and worsted stockings and half boots. He is an indentured apprentice to John Mather, Cordwainer at Radcliffe Bridge, near Bury, Lancashire. If the said apprentice will return to his master's service, he will be received and pardoned for this offence, and any one harbouring or employing him after this notice, will be prosecuted to the utmost rigour of the law. N.B. He left his mater's service on the 5th instant.
